Doors open at 8.45am with children able to access morning tasks in their classroom until doors and gates are locked at 8.55am.
Most mornings start with collective worship as a whole school, together in our hall from 9am. Individual classes hold collective worship on a Tuesday and on Friday’s we celebrate and thank God for pupil achievements at 2.45pm.
Lunch times run for an hour and during this time, pupils can access a variety of play and sporting opportunities. Children may be brought into class for 15 minutes during the lunch hour for 1:1 or small group intervention. This is a whole school strategy used to support pupils in addressing gaps and misconceptions from English and maths lessons during the morning, to ensure they keep up with their peers.
The school day ends at 3.15pm and children should be collected from the allocated door for their year group. Children in year 5 and 6 may walk home independently once a form has been signed by a parent/carer.
