OFSTED

Ofsted graded East Crompton St George’s Primary School as ‘Good’ in their latest visit, under the new framework, in December 2019.

We are extremely pleased with our most recent Ofsted report as it evidences the huge impact made since April 2018 when the current Headteacher took up post. However, the inspection report highlighted our Early Years provision as ‘requires improvement’. Since this point we have been working with an Early Years (EY) consultant to improve this area of provision. Most recent external reports from our school improvement partner and the EY consultant evidence positive impact in our EY provision with some of the most recent feedback stating:

‘Since the last visit, the school and new Reception teacher (DHT) have worked very hard, and invested well, to ensure significant improvements within the quality of EYFS provision.’

‘The indoor learning environment is now of a high standard.’

The outdoor learning environment has been transformed into a more functional and stimulating learning space.’

If you would like to learn more about St. George’s Primary School, we encourage you to contact the school to make an appointment to see the Headteacher or member of the Senior Leadership Team. St. George’s provides a wonderful school experience for its children and would welcome the opportunity to share this with prospective parents.
