Afterschool and Lunchtime Clubs at St. George’s
We’re excited to offer a variety of fun and engaging lunchtime clubs for our pupils! Everyone is welcome to join in and try something new!
Monday
- Young Voices with Mrs Fallon: Singing practice and preparing songs for performances together.
- Mixed Football with Mrs Brumpton: A great opportunity for everyone to build football skills, play matches, and have fun as a team.
- Ball Games with Miss Tan: Stay active with a variety of ball games that help develop teamwork and coordination.
Tuesday
- Chess Club and Book Club with Mr Parker: Learn chess strategies, challenge your friends, or enjoy discovering new stories and sharing your favourite books.
- Ultimate Frisbee & Parachute Games with Mrs Brumpton: Enjoy fast-paced frisbee fun and teamwork challenges with the parachute!
- Ball Games with Miss Tan: Join in energetic ball games that promote teamwork and keep you active.
Wednesday

- Lego Club with Mrs Collier: Get creative with Lego, building imaginative designs and exciting projects.
- Mixed Football & Volleyball with Mrs Brumpton: Enjoy a mix of football and volleyball, developing coordination and teamwork in both games.
- Ball Games with Miss Tan: Have fun playing a range of ball games with your friends.
Eco Club with Mrs Lord: The Eco-team meet with Mrs Lord every Thursday lunchtime. During the year, the children have decided on a programme of activities which will include collecting and re-distributing the paper recycling bags across the school, encouraging recycling during the school day and at home, litter picking, planting wildflowers and using recycled materials to create thematic items and gifts.
- We were delighted that one of our Eco team members won a competition to design a poster that will be displayed in Dunwood Park to encourage people to keep the park free from litter.
Thursday
- TT Rockstars Club with Mr Parker: Practise and improve your times tables recall through fun and competitive TT Rockstars challenges.
- Rounders and Skipping with Mrs Brumpton: Have fun playing rounders as you build your batting, fielding, and teamwork skills! Take on exciting skipping routines and challenges to boost your fitness, coordination, and rhythm.
- Ball Games with Miss Tan: Keep active and enjoy a range of fun ball games.
- Dance Club with Amy: Learn exciting dance routines, explore different styles, and have fun expressing yourself through movement.
Friday
- Forest School with Mr Parker: Explore nature, build dens, and learn outdoor skills in our exciting Forest School sessions.
- Art Club with Mrs Hughes: Get creative with paints, drawing, and crafts to express your artistic side.
- Girls’ Football with Mrs Brumpton: A great chance for girls to develop football skills, play matches, and enjoy the game together.
- Ball Games with Miss Tan: End the week with fun and active ball games that build teamwork and coordination.
- Multi Sports with Harry: (Oldham Athletic Community Trust) – Take part in a variety of sports and physical challenges that build teamwork, fitness, and confidence while having fun.
